Under the will of Edward Grant (q.v.), “Maister Thomas Mydleton” was bequeathed “all my comments upon Virgill, Horatius, Juvenall, and such like school bookes as he hathe of mine, with the annotations upon all Tullyes orations”. Described as “gent.” in note of probate of own will, so not ordained. Buried Westminster Abbey 29 Apr 1610 (will proved 30 April 1610, executors Lancelot Peacock and Francis Middleton).
