Viney, Cecil Henry, only son of Cecil Thomas Viney, of Bromley, Kent, by Ada Maude, daughter of G. H. Smith, of Harrow-on-the-Hill, Middlesex; b. May 24, 1891; adm. Sept. 28, 1905 (G); left 1907; Royal Academy Painting Schools; 2nd Lieut. 3rd Batt. Northants Regt. Aug. 15, 1914; went out to the western front March 1915; killed in action at Fromelles May 9, 1915.
Silversmiths established by Willie and Emile Viener in Sheffield in 1908.
