ALINGTON, JULIUS, fifth son of John Alington (qv); b. 6 Dec 1836; adm. (R) 18 Oct 1851; went out to Natal with Edward Lingen Burton (qv) and became a noted hunter (Markham, Recollections of a Town Boy, 37); of Little Barford House, Beds.; High Sheriff Bedfordshire 1883; JP Bedfordshire, Huntingdonshire; m. 5 Jan 1871 Catherine Mary, second dau. of Edmund Wright, Halston Hall, Shropshire; d. 16 Nov 1905.
