Oct. 14, 1892; B.A. 1895; went into business in Eastern Asia, but returned home on the outbreak of the war; 2nd Lieut. 4th Batt. Lincolnshire Regt. Sept. 19, 1914, attached 1st Batt.; served on the western front; killed in action in France Oct. 11, 1915; unm.
