Grantham); BA 1782; MA 1785; ordained; Prebendary of Salisbury 9 Jan 1786- res May 1802; Vicar of Grantham, Lincs., 1786-91 (year of grace from 14 Feb 1786); Rector of Great Ponton, Lincs., 1789 (dispensation to hold with Grantham, 1789); Rector of Sedgefield, Co. Durham, from Dec 1791; Prebendary of Durham from 22 Sep 1796 (holding the “golden stall” from 16 Nov 1801); Rector of Houghton-le-Spring, Co.
