Biggs, George Nixon, only son of Moses George Biggs, M. D., M.R.C.S., of New Wandsworth, by Elizabeth, elder daughter of William Nixon, of Pembrokeshire; b. March 28, 1881; adm. Jan. 18, 1894 (G); left July 1898; St. Thomas's Hospital; L. S. A. 1905; M.B. and B. S. (Durham Univ.) 1905; aural and throat surgeon; practised in Wimpole Street, London; Lieut.-Col. R.A.M.C. (T.) April 1, 1918; was consulting aurist and laryngologist at the Boulogne base and also to the R.A.F. during Great War I; mentioned in despatches; Portuguese military order of Avis; m. Gladys Victoria, second daughter of H. Archer; d. Nov. 10, 1922.
