        Derry, Oscar Arthur, brother of Douglas Charles Lawford Derry (q.v.); b. Oct. 23, 1894; adm. Jan. 20, 1910 (R); left July 1912; served with the 5th Batt. of the Dorset Regt. 1914-6; 2nd Lieut. Nov. 27, 1914; Lieut. Aug. 23, 1915; wounded and relinquished his commission on account of ill health Nov. 3, 1916; a tobacco planter in S. Rhodesia; returned to England and became a company director; m. 1st July 5, 1924, Alice Elaine, daughter of Cuthbert Vaux, of Sanderstead, Surrey; 2nd Oct. 11, 1931, Mary Beryl, daughter of William Charles Loosemore, of Purley, Surrey; d. 1973.
