Note on reverse: "This is unnamed member of the Grant family of Westminster School. Perhaps the Revd. Richard Grant (1744-1826) House Master of Grant's until 1813. Bought from Mrs. Stewart (with the pastel portrait of "Mother Grant" etc.) who was a niece of Mrs. Wakefield whose Gt. Aunt was Maria Grant (Mrs. Dixon)" Attached label reads: 037276 Ref. 3
