Scope and content
Letter from Waller, 2nd August 1945. Architects. Veronica and Christopher Whall have inspected the East Window. Nothing to be done about the discolouration and pitting - in time (perhaps several centuries) it will become perforated. In some areas the painting on the glass appears to be on the outside (because a large part of the glass is a hotch-potch of bits reused from elsewhere). Due to a labour shortage releading will take at least 12 months.
