(aged 10) Jun 1750 (Hawkins'); in school list 1754; Ensign, 1st Foot Guards 23 May 1758; Lieut. and Capt., 23 Sep 1762; retd. 26 Aug. 1769; Col., East Suffolk Militia, from 14 Jan 1779, with rank Col. in Army from 2 Jul 1779; m. (by c. 1787); d. 25 May 1803.
