Ltd., Bombay, 1923-38; rejoined Royal Navy Dec. 1939; Lieut. March 4, 1940; Lieut. Comdr; served in minelayers and on Admiral's Staff, Germany; asst. master, Clark's College, Brighton, since 1950; m. Dec, 2, 1922, Constance Muriel, daughter of Richard Pryce, of Rhyl, Wales.
