Sept. 18, 1914; 2nd Lieut. 1st Batt. Prince of Wales's Own (West Yorks) Regt. Dec. 3, 1914, and seconded to the Signal Service same day; Lieut. Feb. 25, 1915; Staff-Capt. Dec. 13, 1915; Capt.
