Feb. 18, 1918; assumed the surname of Le Hardy in lieu of Hardy in 1920; Lieut.-Col. 23rd London Regt. (T. A.) Nov. 1, 1932; brevet Col. Nov. 5, 1936; reverted to rank of Major T. A. R.
