George II trophy cup, later chased with rocaille work, fixed upon a modern black plastic plinth base with plaque. Marks rubbed and partially overworked.
Silverplated statuette on a wooden plint. Kept in a wooden box. Inscriptions: 'The Lamb Trophy for Annual Competition in the Triangular Match - Elizabethans v Westminster School v Centre' Awarded 1980-1993.
Inscription: 'This House Challenge Cup is presented by Beryl Halahan to the Westminster Boat Club to commemorate four years spent at Westminster by her son George Edward Desmond Halahan 1924/28'. A large George V silver two-handed cup and cover on silver-mounted wood stand, leaf-capped scroll handles, cut-card motif on body and cover, presentation inscribed. Donor: Beryl Halahan. Awarded as the House Challenge Cup.
