An oval soup tureen and cover,with goat's head mask handles, ornamental edge and beaded moulding, embossed and fluted on four scroll leaf feet, on tray, with liner, all pieces fully marked, engraved with the School armorials and motto . Makers Mark reads W. H.
Inscription: 'This House Challenge Cup is presented by Beryl Halahan to the Westminster Boat Club to commemorate four years spent at Westminster by her son George Edward Desmond Halahan 1924/28'. A large George V silver two-handed cup and cover on silver-mounted wood stand, leaf-capped scroll handles, cut-card motif on body and cover, presentation inscribed. Donor: Beryl Halahan. Awarded as the House Challenge Cup.
A similar silver cup to T.0005.001 of smaller size, with an applied shield bearing the arms of Westminster School enamelled in colour, marked Sterling Silver, on foot. Enamels chipped.
A George III silver challenge cup and cover, with applied leaf decoration on lower part and lid, with elephant head and trunk handles, engraved with coat-of-arms and inscription in Latin with names of donors, inscribed T. Whipham Fecit, Fleet Street, oak case, repaired finial.
Purchased by Eddie Smith and is owned by the Common Room at Westminster School. The trophy is given to the winners of the croquet match between the School and Westminster Abbey and is kept by the winners for a year. The inscriptions are: 'Collegium Westmonasteriensium Victores Lusionis Malleipilaris Intracollegiatae ex dono Sanctuarii Curatoris 2006' and '2006 Abbatia', '2007 Schola', '2008 Abbatia', '2009 Schola'. The School retained the trophy in 2010 but, at time of cataloguing (12 October 2010), this had yet to be engraved.
