Asks if PE will be present at the Westminster meeting on Saturday. Wynn will be dining with Bedford. (NB Watkin Williams-Wynn used to present a guinea to each Welsh boy at Westminster on St David's day - a Friday in 1811.)
Herries has suggested asking for PE's help in devising a Latin inscription for a sword to be presented to the commander of the frigate Lavinia. Some humorous suggestions are appended - e.g. He forced his way though French and Dutch - but yet/ Begg'd he might not appear in the Gazette.
Request from Wynn (v. 327 or 329) to buy some books from Lackington's catalogue, inc. Moll Flanders and some folios of Shakespeare - aks PE to do this, as he is confined to the house by ill health.
A bill sent from the Admiralty to the Treasury has been delayed, but Henry expects it back shortly. He says this in case PE thinks he has already received the amount of the bill and is squandering it. (All a joke?)
