Coin Collection

The Westminster numismatic collection comprises of 170 coins, dating from the fifth century BC to 1962. Amongst the collection are rare coins, as well as forgeries and electrotypes (a process invented around 1850). One of the coins in the collection has a special interest for the school, a Trade Token of 1796 bearing the image of a Westminster scholar (NUM.131). This collection is a small part of the School's extensive coin collection that was sold at auction in 1976.

Pupil

The personal papers of Colin Andrew Murray from when he was a pupil at the Westminster School, 1939-1944. Includes, school reports, school work and correspondence and notices from the school to parents.

Old Westminster

The personal papers of Colin Murray from after he left Westminster School. Including documents regarding the Westminster School Society, the Elizabethan Club, the War Memorial Appeal, Quatercentenary celebrations, commemoration services, correspondence, press cuttings and Christmas cards.

Press Cuttings

Three press cuttings, including one from the Evening News on 21 June 1945 regarding the damage to the school after being bombed; one from an unknown paper regarding disciplining students; and one from an unknown paper regarding the arrival of the students at their new quarters outside the city during WWII.
