The medal features King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on the front with the reverse reading 'GEORGE VI QVEEN ELIZABETH CROWNED 12 MAY 1937'. The medal ribbon is navy blue with white and red stripes down each side. The Medal was sent to Mr Charles M. O'Brien (OW) to be worn in commemoration of the coronation of the King and Queen.
