Letter from Dr G.C. Milner, 19th December 1947. Stranded overnight in Gloucester, saw the Costley-White name on a book in the window of W.H. Smith, knew the name was unusual and established at the cathedral that it really was Harold Costley White. Remembers his kindness towards him while a boy at Rugby when he burst out crying one Sunday morning because his father was dying.
