Thanks Harold Costley White for his invitation to the Enthronement of the Bishop, and asks if his wife and daughter may attend as well. Accepts an invitation to preach. Discussion of the discovery of a grave in the nave. The MC of the ceremony will have his hands full - it would take an archangel to persuade the Lay Clerks to walk in the procession like human beings.

Hopes he will preach in the Cathedral, and in the evening at the little church at Maadi (on outskirts of Cairo), which has a new young chaplain. Happy memories of Harold Costley White teaching him signalling at Rugby.
