The Red Cross has been receiving goods and comforts from abroad for those who have suffered from the floods - request for temporary loan of space in the Deanery to accommodate the parcels prior to distribution. Note (from Harold Costley White?) that they should apply to St Michael's Church, which was used for this purpose during the war.
