Letter from Philip Magnus, 1945. Thanks his 'Headmaster' for recommending him for a post with the Allied Control Commission - duly appointed an SOI in Berlin, but just before emplaning transferred to the 'amenities division' in the UK (national parks, mountains and footpaths).
