Letter from Isabel Sykes, 26th October 1955. Lovely to have Harold Costley White taking part in the service. Her son Bonar and his wife have just flown off (to Germany?). (There is no year attached to the letter, although it is among others from 1955 - if it is in fact 1954, then the service could possibly be the funeral of her husband Frederick, who died 30/9/54.)

Letter from Isabel Sykes, 3rd July 1959. Thoughts on Catullus, and on Randolph Churchill's recently published book (The Rise and Fall of Sir Anthony Eden). Has apparently just been on a trip with the CWs to the Italian Lakes.

Letter from Isabel Sykes, 6th October 1955. On Robert Blake's biography of her father Bonar Law - she was sent an early part, but made so many criticisms that she was not sent any more. Hopes the weather will be good for the CWs' break in Dolgellau.

Harold Costley White instrumental in the moving of a school to Mossley Hill - beneficial because of delightful surroundings, with gardens and playing fields (Liverpool College).
