Re the scheme for bringing 10,000 Central European children to England for the winter months, he encloses a copy of a letter sent by him to Air Vice-Marshall HV Champion de Crespigny seeking his confirmation of the relevant facts, together with a copy of his reply. He concludes that the matter be left for the present.
