A satisfactory inspection - but it was scathing about the school buildings. Has been told that Harold Costley White received assistance from the Dulverton Trust at Gloucester and details to the Bristol Dean.

Harold Costley White's achievements as Head Master - started Busby's, and bought Grove Park and the boathouse at Putney.

Letter from Capt. Soames, 24th March 1947. Asks if the colours of the 5th Gloucester Battalion may continue to be stored in the Cathedral for another two months, pending the re-formation as a territorial battalion.

Still keeps in touch with Westminster - knows Walter Hamilton, and remembers that Harold Costley White used to welcome him so kindly when he came to preach to the boys.

Letter from Canon B.J. Harper, 6th November 1960. Hon. Sec. The Sudan Church Association. Thanks Harold Costley White for his contribution to the Review. Recalls their visit to Khartoum in 1949 to preach the Gordon Sermon. Changes have taken place in Sudan but the church remains stable and continues to flourish.
