'This is to certify that Edward Egerton Phillips has been examined in the Subjects appointed for the Examination of Pupils at Schools in union with the College of Preceptors, and has been found qualified to receive a Certificate of the Second Class First Division, which is herby awarded to him and is recorded in the College Register.'
