Mary, widow of Benjamin Baron, St. Andrew Undershaft, London, citizen and grocer, and dau. of William Harrison, London; d. 2 Jan 1638/9. Buried Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. DNB. [Note however that there may be some confusion between the respective preferments of this John King and those of Rev. John King DD, Prebendary of Westminster 15 Sep 1613 – death 7 Aug 1638, also Canon of Windsor from 23 Nov 1615 and Prebendary of St. Paul’s from 23 Dec 1616, father of next (qv)].
