Can. 1816; KS 1817; left Nov 1817; fought on patriot side in Greek War of Independence 1821; MD (where ?); FRCP; Assistant Physician, Westminster Hospital; FRS 28 Jan 1836; became naturalised as a Swiss citizen; member, Swiss Legislature; edited and revised the 14th edition of his mother’s Conversations on Natural Philosophy, 1872; m. at Geneva, Switzerland 23 Apr 1827 Aimée Amélie Beaumont (IGI); d. 14 Apr 1883.
