May, Thomas George, fourth son of Henry May, of Thorpe, Surrey, by Emma, daughter of Robert Langdon, of Dulwich, Surrey; b. April 19, 1891; adm. May 4, 1906 (H); migrated up Rigaud's; left July 1909; a tea and rubber planter in Ceylon; enlisted in the Ceylon contingent Sept. 1914; served in Egypt and Gallipoli; went to France 1916, returned to England and was appointed temp. 2nd Lieut. M. G. C. Oct. 25, 1916; went out again to France Feb. 1, 1917; killed in action near Ypres, Flanders, Aug. 6, 1917; unm.
