Lyons and Co. 1929-32; asst. sales manager, Cerebos Ltd. 1932-8; joined the staff of Whitbread and Co. Ltd., Brewers, 1938; commercial manager 1949; technical director in charge of Soho since 1957; m. Jan 17, 1924, Sybil Maud Elizabeth, daughter of Col. the Hon. Ranulph Allsopp, of Bournemouth, Hants.; d. 1976.
