Easter 1642; BA 1644/5; MA 1648; Rector of Staplehurst, Kent 1648 – Aug 1662, when ejected for refusal to conform; established an Independent congregation there (licensed as Presbyterian minister 10 Aug 1672); m. 8 Nov 1653 Mary, dau. of Ninian Butcher, St. Mary Aldermanbury, London; buried Staplehurst, Kent 12 Jun 1674.
