Lent 1903; B.A. 1907; M.A. 1909; ordained deacon 1909, priest 1910 (Southwark); Curate of Holy Trinity, RotherĀhithe, Surrey, 1909-14; member of the Community of the Resurrection, at Mirfield, Yorks, 1914; asst. master, St. John's Coll., Johannesburg, South Africa, 1916-25; returned to Mirfield on leaving South Africa and served there till his death; a tireless missionary in the industrial areas of England, and for many years hon. asst. secretary of the Church of England Children's Society founded by his father; d. May 30, 1958.
