Inner Temple, called to bar 22 Jun 1887; for many years secretary to his father; engaged in railway construction in Canada 1898-1913; returned to England 1913; employed at Bank of England for some years; went to live in the Bahamas; m. 1st, Georgina Hobson, Baltimore, Maryland, USA; m. 2nd, 3 Sep 1914 Ellen, dau. of Archibald White Gibson Mullin, Manchester, engineer and surveyor.
