Fulke Greville Howard (qv); b. 13 Jun 1777; adm. 26 Jun 1786; Ensign, 2nd Foot Guards 6 Nov 1793; Lieut. and Capt., 2 Dec 1795; Maj., 13th Foot 7 May 1807; Lieut. -Col., 7th West India Regt., 14 May 1807; Capt. and Lieut. -Col., 1st Foot Guards 21 May 1807; Brevet Col., 4 Jun 1814; 1st Maj., 25 Jul 1814; Major-Gen., 19 Jul 1821; Lieut. -Gen., 10 Jan 1837; Gen., 11 Nov 1851; served in the Netherlands 1794, the Helder and Walcheren expeditions, and in Peninsular War 1811-4; CB 4 Jun 1815; Equerry to Queen Charlotte May 1807-18; MP Bury St. Edmunds 1818-26; played in first match between Gentlemen and Players at Lordís Jul 1806, and in most of the principal cricket matches of that time; d. unm. 22 Jan 1855.
