Thomas Wintle, Rector of Brightwell, Berks.; b.; adm. 9 Jun 1784; KS (aged 14) 1786; elected to Christ Church, Oxford 1790, matr. 9 Jun 1790, Westminster Student 24 Dec 1790 – void 17 Dec 1798 (expiry year of grace as R. Culham from 6 Dec 1797); BA 1794; MA 1797; BD 1805; ordained; Rector of Culham, Oxfordshire, from 1797; Rector of Compton Beauchamp, Berks., from 18 May 1803; Prebendary of St. Paul’s from 11 Jun 1805; Preacher, South Lambeth Chapel 1807; m. Margaretta Maria, dau. of James Morrell, Oxford, and sister of Deacon Morrell (probably – Morrell, at school in 1790, qv); d. 24 Aug 1848.
