“John Price, Master of Arte and Usher of the Schole” was presented by the Dean and Chapter of Westminster to the vicarage of Longdon, Worcs., 2 Mar 1570/1 (and was evidently therefore ordained by that date), but the presentation was subsequently cancelled by the Bishop of Worcester. Probably Oxford Univ., BA 1562 ; MA 1566 (incorp.Cambridge 1576). [Apparently John Price MA, Headmaster of Ruthin School 1574-81 ; maybe Rev. John Price, Warden of Ruthin 1594-9]
