William Clowes Ltd. is a British printing company that was founded in London in 1803 by William Clowes. It became one of the world's largest printing companies in the mid-19th century. The company merged with Caxton Press, operated by William Moore in Beccles, Suffolk in the late 19th century. It is one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of directories and reference books and continues to operate out of its large printing factory at Ellough near Beccles as part of the CPI UK group.

Silversmiths in partnership from 1797. In 1808 William Chawner entered the partnership, left the partnership in 1814. Eley and Fearn continued to practice, and William Eley's sons were all apprenticed to their father and became silversmiths too.

Became William Hutton & Son in 1864, then William Hutton and Sons from c.1870. Acquired Rupert Favell & Co, and became William Hutton & Sons Ltd in 1893. Acquired Creswick & Co in 1902. Absorbed by James Dixon & Sons in 1930.
