The Elizabethan Club

Founded in 1861 through the efforts of Mr Charles Mylne Barker. It was founded originally for athletic purposes and membership was limited to Queen's scholars. Shortly afterwards Town Boys and Old Westminsters were also admitted. The club was reconstituted in 1864 and since then the club has been exclusively for Old Westminsters. In 1923 it merged with the Old Westminsters Football and Cricket Club. The aim of the society is to encourage social contact through sporting and social events.

William Eley & William Fearn
