Seafortli Highlanders Oct. 24, 1915; afterwards in Home Service as Major Pioneer School of Instruction; M.C. Jan. 1, 1917; m. July 21, 1914, Laura, youngest daughter of Samuel Solomon Joseph, of London; d. April 26, 1944.
