Worcester training ship; R. M.C. Sandhurst 1917; 2nd Lieut. 3rd Batt. Beds. Regt. Sept. 12, 1917, attached R. F. C. Dec. 1917; went out to the western front March 11, 1918, and was wounded on March 22 and invalided home; returned to the western front May 19; d. at Riquier, near Abbeville, France, June 4, 1918, of injuries accidentally received when starting on a bombing raid on June 2.
