Sandhurst 1918-9; rowed stroke of the Thames Rowing Club VIII which won the Thames Cup at Henley in 1920, was No. 2 in the Thames VIII which won the Grand Challenge Cup at Henley in 1923, and was No. 2 in the English VIII which took part in the Olympic Games in 1924; partner in Yuill, Bare & Co., produce brokers; 2nd Lieut.
