Lincoln’s Inn 4 Nov 1873, called to bar 28 Jun 1876; practised as a conveyancer; contributed 300 articles to DNB; author of A Memoir of Richard Busby DD, 1895, and other works; edited The Westminster School Register 1764-1883, 1892, and compiled the greater portion of the present work; d. unm. 7 Jan 1927.
