Michaelmas 1897; B.A. 1900; 1st class clerk in the War Office 1901-19; served with the Royal Berks Regt. in France 1916-9; abroad in Jugoslavia; m. Aug. 10, 1919, Ida Marie, daughter of Edward Schaefer, of Vienna.
