            WILLOUGHBY, JOHN; b.; adm.; QS in Jun 1569; a Latin letter dated 26 Jun 1569, addressed by him to William Cecil, Lord Burleigh, and asking him for his influence at the forthcoming election, is preserved among the Lansdowne MSS (xii. 4) in the British Library; perhaps the Thomas Willoughby who was elected head to Christ Church, Oxford 1569, Westminster Student to May 1571.
