(aged 10) May 1733; KS 1737; elected to Christ Church, Oxford 1742, matr. 19 Jun 1742, Westminster Student 24 Dec 1742 - void 30 Jun 1750; said to have been an Usher at the School; ordained deacon 25 May 1746, priest 14 Jun 1747 (both Oxford); Master, Doncaster Free Grammar School, from 27 Aug 1747; Vicar of Cantley, Yorks., from 3 Oct 1758; m.; buried at Cantley 20 May 1776.
