Oxford 22 May 1723); ordained priest 17 Mar 1727/8; Chaplain, Royal Navy 1728; went out to St. Kitts, West Indies, with usual bounty of £20 as an “emigrant minister”, 12 Nov 1729; m. Sarah Millward.
