DE HOCHEPIED-LARPENT, SIR ALBERT JOHN, BART., only son of Sir George Gerard De Hochepied-Larpent, Bart., and his first wife Charlotte, third dau. of William Cracroft, Hackthorn, Lincs.; grandson of John Larpent (qv); b. 18 Mar 1816; adm. 26 Jan 1828 (Stelfox's); at Harrow Sch. 1829-32; in banking business, Calcutta; succ. father as 2nd baronet 8 Mar 1855; m. 18 Oct 1838 Catherine Lydia, younger dau. of Capt. Lewis Simeon Shaw, EICS Bengal; d. on his passage from Calcutta to England 13 Jun 1861.
