Cambridge, adm. sizar 6 Jul 1843; ordained; Curate, St. Stephen’s, St. Albans, Herts. 1847-8, 1862-5; Curate, St. Cuthbert, Wells, Somerset 1853-4; Curate, Deal, Kent, and Chesilborough, Somerset; Chaplain, EICS Bombay 1850 (still 1860); m. 25 Aug 1846 Mary Dorothea, youngest dau. of Lieut. -Col.
