Cambridge 1693, adm. pens. 28 Jun 1693, scholar 20 Apr 1694, matr. 1695; BA 1696/7; MA 1700; Minor Fellow, Trinity Coll., 2 Oct 1699, Major Fellow 5 Apr 1701- c. 1707; presumably Brian Fairfax who was Deputy Treasurer of Chamber, Royal Household May 1720 - c. Aug 1721; Commissioner of Taxes 22 Dec 1714 – Aug 1723, Commissioner of Customs from 1723; collected a valuable library and a gallery of pictures at his house in Panton Square, Haymarket; d. unm. 9 Jan 1748/9.
