FREEMAN, ROBERT MARRIOTT, eldest son of Robert Marriott Freeman MRCS LSA, Stony Stratford, Bucks., and Mary Anne Scriven (IGI); b. 6 Aug 1836; adm. 22 Jan 1849 (Rigaud's); QS 1851; elected head to Trinity Coll. Cambridge 1855, adm. pens. 11 Jun 1855, but went to Christ Church, Oxford, matr. 18 Jan 1856; BA 1860; ordained deacon 1860, priest 1861 (both Rochester); Curate, Stevenage, Herts. 1860-3; Perpetual Curate of High Leigh, Cheshire 1863-7; Rector of Berkley, Somerset, from 1877; m. [by 1881]; d. 20 Apr 1892.
